About Action

Visa Assistance

Businesses wanting to hire workers through the H-2A and H-2B work visa programs would be hard-pressed to find an employer’s agent with more experience, knowledge, and tenacity than Action Visa Assistance.  Founded in 2001 and operated by Lori Whitten, Action Visa Assistance is an advocate for business owners and works with them step-by-step from determining whether a temporary work program is right for them to helping business owners navigate the complicated application process.

Action Visa Assistance works with more than 200 business owners in need of workers hired through the H-2A and H-2B programs and is responsible for processing thousands of workers every year.  In fact, Action Visa Assistance currently ranks in the top five-percent of agents in terms of sheer volume of H-2B workers processed.  We stay up to date on regulatory modifications debated and passed by Congress, help businesses establish an application timeline and meet deadlines, and guarantee that applications are prepared properly.

In addition to helping business owners seeking workers through visa programs, Action Visa Assistance’s Lori Whitten is also heavily involved with lobbying efforts in Washington D.C.  Having earned her B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Marketing, Lori makes regular trips to Capitol Hill where she meets with members of Congress to discuss the need for programs like H-2A and H-2B.  Some of the elected officials with whom she has met include House Judiciary Committee Chairman Congressman Pete Sessions, Congressman Clay Higgins, and staffers for House Speaker Paul Ryan and Senator Ted Cruz.
